HOW MUCH DO WE LOVE VINCENT????? This is one of the most hauntingly beautiful and sad songs of all time...great choice..:))

LOVE the continued flow of art for the set designs...they are VERY VALUABLE...I hope that they will be used over and over again...and the paintings of 'the boys...the colors speak volumes as to their 'on fire' personalities...wonderful...:)))

Powerful winning portraits, Kim. They remind me a bit of Frances Bacon's "agonized" work. YOU should win this prize for your work!

You've done a lovely springy stage prop. Are you going to be doing this for awhile? Must be a nice change of pace. :)

I will have to get my Twitter mosaic, one of these days...

  • Kim 17.3.09

    hey Lynda
the work is very Bacon isn't it :)
you are so kind ..I haven't had much time to enter the biggies this year and my never ending portrait of Al and Kelly is still on the back burner ..crikey !!!
the props are just great and I'm loving them ..I have a harlequin..cleopatra and a chess piece to do next and I'm painting all the props for the end of the year concert as well ..
as they say when it rains it pours eh..
haha the twitter mosaic was very quick and easy and I couldn't resist it :))

Yes, ma'am! When it rains, it pours. But no one to do it better than you, Kim. You will give it your all and do a superb job. Have fun with it!

And one day you will finish that portrait that's been waiting for you, with great results, too.

    Good day Kim,
Thank you so much for the links. Also I have to agree with Lynda your pieces are incredible. You and she simply amaze me with your talent.

Lastly what a wonderful video. I love the song and of course Van Gogh is one of my all time favorites.

The song was perfect for his paintings as well as his life. I suppose I like him so well because I can identify with him.

I hope you you have wonderful day. I have a ton of tags and awards to do.

Thank you for the early morning beauty with your work and Van Gogh's!

    Hugs,
    Jackie:-)
