He is so lucky to have a painter as a mom! :)
I am sure u will finish this one by end Jan...and in ur new home too YAY! :)
I dunno if u noticed but there is something seriously wrong with my TC widget Kim! :(
It is showing all my old commenters, even you are off the list boo hoo! :(
I am trying to fix it, so hopefully all will be okay in Mariuca's world later tonight. :)
Wishing you, C and ur son a happy weekend! :):):)
I know when you're finished with this, they will spring to life off the canvas. Even with your progress so far, you have already captured the spirit of youth!
not that I know so much about art and stuff, but that's a pretty good looking portrait for something that's unfinished. looks artsy, sorta.
guess it's all in the eye of the beholder.
what's left to do? add color and tones?
Kim, Alexander looks so much more mature even from the last painting...very statuesque young man you have there...and Kelly, well, she's simply gorgeous...I love this painting...
Snowing...going to get at least 10"...making soup, nuzzling in w/ the boys and the kitties...:)))
can't believe these are not finished yet - they look so lifelike already Kim...wish I was half as good as you are in drawing/painting
I just love coming here and being able to share your artistic progress. I have also found a new adoration for the arts with your posts.
This portrait is giving out a different vibe than previous ... I'm not sure what it is. (yet)
Aloha fro SpeedyCat!
Just wanted to say that since it is frozen here and nice there because you are hanging upside down
ha haaaa!
Wow it looks amazing as it is I can't wait to see the finished result.
hello Mariuca..

I'd say it's a problem with the source....

hi Sauekraut
still a way to go with the blacks..whites and grays..
no colour as this will ba a monochromatic..

This looks very very very promising, Kim, and it is great to see it again and how you have tended your vision.
Merry Christmas.
I remember the first portrait I saw you doing of your son and daughter - its fascinating seeing how they grow up. He is certainly a very good looking boy - takes after his mother!
hi Kim, how you doing?
mariuca chop first!
Happy weekend to you
love the potrait
doing it so well and pretty
I love the style and feel of this, kinda reminds me of circa late 1980's feel.Perhaps because of the way they're dressed. Simply Love it~

Happy Saturday to you Kim, I am cooking again tonight he he! Back to the kitchen now, see ya later. :)
Hi,
I wish you Yuletide Joy and A Blessed New Year together with your family.
Happy Holidays!
Hello Kim,
They make a very handsome couple.
Your son Alexander has a very intense expression, and Kelly has a forward looking one.
They look so young but appear like they can't wait to grow and mature. I would agree with Lynda, ypu have captured the spirit of these young couple. Congratulations. :-) -- Durano, done!
"finish" it?
ok...if you say so!
(I like the edginess of it~in its current state...wow can't wait to see the finished work) :)
Fabulous, they must be thrilled at that.

ah yes Mariuca..
lovely to see MPG here today :))
haha relaxing...not yet..
I hope you are ;)
hi Kim yeah its christmas eve, and we are going to have dinner at home.
its much cheaper than eating out.
if eating out at restaurant will cost $90 per adult. That is too much even though the food is very nice. I think the money can be used for groceries
Kim, my grandfather in Gold Coast australia
