I love the idea of the roses. Something I'll think of for our Father's Day here in June.

Hey Kim..my Father passed away Sept. 24, 1988...so it will be 20 years this month...soooo hard to believe how the time has passes...but you know what, his birthday is April 21, and that's the hardest day for me, because we were always so used to celebrating on that day...now, I will think of you as well...I'm one of those people who remembers dates...love the portrait...what a strong man!

    hi Michelle
I didn't know about the roses until I googled Fathers' Day...
and then it took me ages to find the perfect white rose painting.... :)

    gee Amy...

Interesting to see how different cultures remember their fathers. We use Myosotis scorpioides (Forget-me-not flowers) to remember our dads because the 5 blue petals on each flower remind us of a star which our dads were in the service to their families and country.
