I remember the first time I fell for one of these scams when I clicked on one of those pop ups....I really thought I was in the running for a free holiday...LOL....much wiser now :)

I win prizes every day. Going from £1000 to several millions. Usually a foreign lottery scam.
Another one is an email from some big shots secretary who needs to transfer his money because he's in some kind of political problem. They ask if they can transfer the money to your account and you get 30%.
I did some research on that and what it is : they find some way to charge you for the transfer but the tranfer never happens. So they keep your money and you get nothing. They get smarter and smarter.
